My Favourite Photos of Brazil to Inspire Your Next Adventure
Brazil is an explosion of life, colour, and rhythm. It’s a place where every day feels like a celebration and every landscape seems larger than life. It’s a place that invites you to embrace life with open arms.
From the wild beauty of the Amazon rainforest to the sun-soaked shores of Copacabana, visiting Brazil will ignite your imagination and stir your soul.
This enormous South American country is a land of contrasts and surprises, where nature and culture dance together in perfect harmony, creating an experience that’s as exhilarating as it is unforgettable.
One of my favourite places in Brazil is the colonial town of Paraty. Surrounded by thickly forested mountains and pristine beaches, Paraty is a charming mix of old-world charm and natural beauty.
Ilha Grande is another must-visit destination in Brazil. Located off the coast of Rio de Janeiro, this island is a nature lover’s paradise. With no cars or roads, the only way to get around is by foot or boat, making it an ideal spot for anyone seeking a peaceful and secluded getaway.
As you hike the lush rainforest trails, you’ll come across stunning beaches with crystal clear waters, perfect for swimming, snorkelling, and kayaking. Lopes Mendes beach, known for its long stretch of white sand and turquoise sea, is often described as one of the best in the world.
Drink in the early-morning mist over the Pantanal, where jaguars prowl and caimans bask in the sun. Explore the vibrant streets of Rio de Janeiro, where samba music fills the air and the scent of grilled churrasco drifts from every corner. Or Salvador, with its cobbled streets and colourful facades.
Here’s a collection of my favourite photos from this extraordinary country. I hope these images give you a glimpse of Brazil’s magic and inspire you to discover it for yourself.

🚗 Find cheap rental cars
Check both Discover Cars and Rentalcars.com to find cheap rental cars.
🌍 Book the best tours

📱 eSIMs
Airalo is my favourite travel eSIM provider – I’ve used it in over 10 countries and really rate it. So much easier than buying physical SIM cards when you travel!
🚑 Do I need travel insurance?
YES! Never travel without adequate travel insurance. It’s just not worth the risk.
• SafetyWing – if you’re a digital nomad like me, SafetyWing is super flexible and affordable. You can sign up for as little or as long as you want, and activate and deactivate it whenever you need to. I’ve made several claims in the last few years and thoroughly recommend this company.
• World Nomads – for adventurous travellers, covers 200+ activities that many other insurers won’t, such as skydiving, heli-skiing, rock climbing, rafting, scuba diving, cliff jumping, and kiteboarding (not available for residents of every country – check here).
💻 Do I need a VPN?
YES! Always use a VPN when using public WiFi (in airports, cafes, hotels, stations, etc.). This helps protect your personal information and also bypasses internet censorship and restrictions in certain countries. I use NordVPN and highly recommend it.
